Manager or leader?

On the way to work this morning, I heard something interesting from the radio deejay. Are you a manager? Or leader? Or both? Here's what he said:

A manager copes with complexity, but a leader copes with change;
A manager plans & budgets, but a leader sets a direction;
A manager organizes & staffs, but a leader aligns people;
A manager controls & problem-solves, but a leader motivates people;
A manager promotes efficiency, but a leader promotes effectiveness;
A manager is a good soldier, but a leader is his or her own person;
A manager imitates, but a leader originates;
A manager accepts the status quo, but a leader challenges;
A manager does the things right, but a leader does the right things.

So which one are you? Or a mixture of both?
